Mono 24 - about
Mono 24 is a 24 GHz ISM microwave radio link.
Mono 24 has one radio module and a 35 dBi parabolic (directional) antenna. In contrary to many microwave radio links, Mono 24 is a very compact solution. It is not divided into separate IDU and ODU (In-Door and Out-Door Units). Instead, a heavy-duty enclosure houses all electronics and RF elements inside. Whole device weights 4.5 kg and uses the PoE (Power over Ethernet) standard for data and power transmission over twisted-pair cable.
The device uses an improved version of the MRTP protocol designed on purpose for the Mono series, which uses precise TDD (Time-Division Duplex).
