Duo 5 is a 5GHz wireless Ethernet bridge using the MRTP technology designed
exclusively for systems with separate radios for data transmission and reception. Duo 5 is capable of transmission with
much higher speeds than devices using carrier multiple access (CSMA/CA, TDMA, polling), ie. IEEE 802.11 (WiFi),
especially on very long-range connections.

Duo 5 Ext is based on two high-power radio modules working in 5GHz. Device is enclosed in a small, ruggedized
enclosure with one RJ-45 and two N-type antenna connectors.

Duo 5 Ext is the most powerful of all Miure Duo models. Together with appropriate antennas and other RF elements Duo
5 Ext can deliver the top performance on outstanding link distances.

Performance

effective aggregated TCP/IP bandwidth for 40MHz-wide channel: 150 Mbps
	range: up to 30 km
packet performance: over 60 000 pps

Features

	innovative radio transmission protocol: MRTP
no bandwidth degradation with distance increase
radio bandwidth is the bandwidth available "on interface"
		concurrent frame fragmentation and aggregation
		asynchronous retransmission
automatic selection of modulation, frame size and transmit power
modes of minimal latency and strict ordering of Ethernet frames
AES-CCMP encryption with automatic key negotiation

can be used with any dual polarized antenna with port-to-port isolation min. 40 dB
operation in IEEE 802.3 (Ethernet) bridge mode
		STP protocol support (IEEE 802.1D)
fully transparent, especially to VLAN traffic (IEEE 802.1Q)
		Ethernet frame filter
support for ARP, DHCP, SMB and PPPoE protocols
support for destination MAC address translation (MAC DNAT)

		QoS support

	simple usage and installation
PoE (Power over Ethernet) support (IEEE 802.3af)
		automatic radio parameters selection
		small dimensions and low weight
		advanced, multilingual web interface
interactive, real-time graphical statistics of the device
multilingual, simple command line interface accessible via SSH protocol
		SNMP diagnosis

	device warranty: 24 months
